Ahhh...Summer at Last, But Wait

The weather is telling me different! The kids are out of school. It is officially summer, however it has been raining for the last month it feels like. Although, I am sure I will be complaining about the heat in no time! Ha!

My goals for the summer are:

*to not have anything extra on my plate so I can focus on my family and my home.

*help my hubby get through his summer classes. Yes folks he has gone back to school to finish up his Bachelors. Only 8 classes away. Can you say studd??! I am so impressed with him!

*Get my house organized to my liking

*run a half marathon

*just be spontaneous and play with my 3 adorable boys!

Oh how I love summer so much! Bring on the flip flops, sno cones, pool, sunglasses, and the SUN!!! :-)

Yes, It Is Really Me!

I have taken a very long blogging hiatus. PTA really has taken over my life. It has been so fun and stressful all at once! The school year is almost to a close, so the end is in sight. Plus I think my family will be happy to have my full attention again! :-) I really don't know where to start, so I will start with the present. I have really been thinking about my Mom a lot lately. Probably because the 3 year anniversary of her death is just days away. You never get over the death of someone close to you. You just learn to live with it and deal with it. My mind still often wanders to her and how I wish she were still here. There is a void in my life with her gone, but I know I will be with her again someday. Hooray for the Plan of our Heavenly Father. He loves us and has made a way for us to be together forever. I am so grateful for that!

1st Days of School

Carson started pre-school last Wednesday. We started the day out with his special breakfast.

Colby's first day of 1st grade is today. Last night the Magic School Bus stopped by and dropped off some school supplies for Colby.

Colby was SO excited for school to start. He woke up multiple time during the night to see if it was morning yet. Then he was literally doing this happy dance all morning long that had Nate and I rolling! He is such a special boy and I know he will do awesome this year!
Good luck to my boys this year!
