The Grand Opening!

We opened Moe's Italian Ice on Saturday and it was a success. We had so many friends and family come out and support us and for that we are SO grateful! We live in a great area among even greater people. We love where we are at and are glad to be able to open a place here! We got a great response from the public and hope that word will get around! I got to work and help out. It was a lot of fun! But mostly because I got to work with Nate! We have always made a great team! Here are some pictures from our Grand Opening on Saturday.

If you look closely, you can see Nate in the window

John, Abbi, Chad and Abbi's bro, Adam came out!

Our First Customers, and believe it or not is was people we didn't know!

Most of the balloons popped before we even got them up. I was so bummed about that!

Nate's Life Goals for Material Goods Complete as of Tomorrow (posted by Nate)

1. Own a microwave with a popcorn button. (complete) This was because our house in Ephraim had a microwave that would always burn popcorn. We have recently purchased a over the range microwave and yes it does pop popcorn nicely.

2. Own a slurpee Machine. (complete tomorrow) Moe's Italian Ice is taking place of that and opening tomorrow.

3. Own a Karmann Ghia (completed last year) Sold it 6 months later due to cost to fix it up to actually run legally. For the record Colby loved it and perhaps someday we will get another one.

Park City Trip

Nate and I took a trip to Park City this past weekend to celebrate our 5th Anniversary. We had a Wonderful time! My mom, the most unselfish, generous person in the world flew down to watch our kids for us so we could go to Park City childless. By the way, did I mention she is suffering from cancer and going through Chemo and STILL came down to take care of our boys. She insisted. THANK YOU MOM! She is so great and we love her soooo much! We stayed in a great hotel! The room was so nice! The weather left something to be desired, so we weren't able to do all the things we wanted to, but we did get some good shopping in! That is always fun to me! It was so great to spend quality one on one time with Nate. I always have fun with him. He really is my best friend! I love and appreciate him so much!

Gilmore Girls No More

I have been a big fan of Gilmore Girls for the past few years. They aired their last episode this week, and I have to admit I am a bit sad to see it go. I know it is silly to get attached to a TV program, but I really enjoyed it, and even got Nate into it a bit. It just made me laugh and was thoroughly entertaining. I am really going to miss it!

My New Best Friend!

The Mr. Clean Magic eraser is so wonderful! Last week Colby decided to take permanent marker to our tile floor and kitchen table. Nate pulled out the Magic Eraser and it really is magic. Worked like a champ and left NOTHING behind. My new best friend! Thank you! Below are the before and after pictures.

Monday Mugs

Here are some pictures from out trip to Parowan this last weekend. We sure had a great time! We thought we were going down south for warmth, but it snowed! Unbelievable. Made for a cold weekend, but we still had so much fun! We went to a great dinner at SUU on Nate's Birthday. And Saturday we all went to lunch and bowling (minus Caytee :(). Then had a roaring game of Croquet on Sunday before we headed home. It was a lot of fun!!! Thanks Neal and Carol for hosting us! We love you!

Morning Grumpiness

Nate has this habit of waking me out of a dead sleep to ask me things early in the morning. Questions like, "Do you know where my wallet is?" or today's was my favorite, "Do you know where my Birth Certificate is?" Now, I am not a morning person and am already grumpy as it is, so he rarely gets a cheerful response. Then he gets frustrated with me. He knows every time what kind of response he is going to get! :)) It is hard enough to just wake up, let alone think! He makes me laugh. I really need to work on my morning grumpiness. I love him! I really do think it is funny.
